You have three tills and they all sell from the same catalogue into the same order list: the web POS in the browser, the desktop app for macOS and Windows, and moraPOS on Android. The desktop and mobile tills keep working with no internet. See the Mobile apps article.
Processing a sale
- Find products: Search by name, SKU, or barcode, or browse by category using the tabs.
- Add to cart: Click a product to add it. Click again to increase the quantity, or use the +/- buttons in the cart.
- Select a customer (optional): Click the customer icon to assign a customer. This applies their pricing tier and lets them pay from their wallet.
- Apply discounts (optional): Use the discount panel for a percentage or fixed-amount discount, or enter a coupon code.
- Choose a payment method: Cash, card or POS terminal, bank transfer, or the customer's wallet.
- Complete the sale: Click Complete Sale to finalize. A receipt preview appears, which you can print or skip.
The payment method is never chosen for you
Charge stays blocked until somebody picks how the customer paid. That is deliberate. A preselected "cash" files card payments and transfers in the cash column, and nobody finds out until the drawer is counted and does not balance.
Partial / piece sales
Some products (fabric sold by the yard, or items sold by piece from a set) support partial sales. When you add such a product a modal appears letting you enter the exact quantity or number of pieces.
One-off items
For work that is not in your catalogue, a repair or a bespoke job, add a line with its own description and agreed price. It goes on the order and into your revenue without you having to invent a product for it.
Holding orders
Need to pause an order? Click Hold to save the current cart, then resume it later from the Held Orders drawer, which is useful when a customer steps away.
